I was commissioned to make a custom media stand that could fit a record player, receiver, and record collection.

I used salvaged old growth pine from a disassembled barn and end grain plywood to give the piece character.

This is the piece that gave me the wood working bug and has fueled all of my other projects.

Much of the work was a first for me including hand cut mortise and tenon joints, bowtie patches, and box joints.
