The assigned program was to create housing that addresses the Oregon bills SB 450 and HB 2001. My solution was to design competitive inhibitor housing that would keep single wealthy professionals out of family homes.

To do this I designed community oriented yet private and tranquil homes that could themselves be considered precious objects.

For the entirety of the class I forsook technology and dove into hand drafting and construction. I chose to build a 1/4 inch scale model of the single unit on the front half of the lot to better understand the space.

I structured the space from public to private using Muslim communities as a case study and made sure the entire site met living building standards.
